Performance slumps & the low after the big goal.

You train hard and still get worse? Often it's not your head that's taking away your performance, but your body's lack of recovery. I know this from 25 years in elite sport.

Your roadmap · For athletes

Why the low often comes after peak performance.

Performance slumps are rarely just in your head: overtraining, depleted mitochondria, exhausted adrenal glands and a nervous system stuck in constant alarm rob the body of its ability to recover – form breaks down, no matter how hard you train.

And the low after the big goal is something I know myself – after the Olympics. Many people experience the same thing after a major turning point: after giving birth, after an illness, or at the end of a career. After the high often comes a low – partly caused physically, and very treatable. More on this at Burnout & depression.

Possible causes

What might really be behind it.

Tap a point – we look deeper.

Mitochondria & regeneration

Mitochondria produce the energy for performance and recovery. Under overtraining and chronic stress, they shut down – the body can no longer regenerate. We rebuild them in a targeted way.

Adrenal glands & cortisol

The stress gland runs hot under strain and burns out – cortisol tips, energy, sleep and drive collapse. We relieve the stress axis and rebuild it.

Nervous system in constant alarm

A body under constant strain switches to survival mode instead of recovery. Only when the nervous system settles does performance and stability return – this is exactly where NeuroPerform° comes in.

Hormones & neurotransmitters

Dopamine, serotonin, cortisol and sex hormones govern drive, mood and regeneration. After peak performance or in crises, they fall out of rhythm – we bring them back into balance.

Sense of purpose, structure & the emotional level

After the big goal, structure and meaning often collapse – a genuine crisis with real physical contributors. We factor in the mental level and help build new stability and drive.

When needed

Regeneration, adrenal glands, nutrients – targeted, as lean as possible.

Quantum analysis (TimeWaver)

Making regulation visible

A look at energy and regulation status as a complement.

As much as necessary, as lean as possible – often conversation and functional diagnostics already provide many answers.

How we get you there

Our path – in the right order.

Important

First we bring body and nervous system out of constant alarm and build cell energy, then regain structure, meaning and mental strength. I accompany you – as someone who has lived through both myself.

How we support you

  • Build mitochondria & cell energy
  • Regulate the nervous system (NeuroPerform°)
  • Stabilize adrenal glands, hormones & neurotransmitters
  • Correct nutrient deficiencies, rebuild the gut
  • Include the mental & emotional level
  • Shape structure, regeneration & everyday life together
